A course blending studio practice and field immersion to design culturally rooted, body-conscious jewellery. Explore Indian crafts, sustainable materials, and emotional storytelling to create a meaningful jewellery line that reflects identity and movement.
Objective:
To explore jewellery not just as ornamentation but as an expression of cultural narratives, ergonomics, health, and sustainable material innovation. Students will design body-conscious jewellery that respects body anatomy, posture, and skin sensitivity while embedding stories and materials rooted in Indian craft.
MODULES
Anthropology of body adornment
Ergonomics and body-conscious placement
Craft exploration: Dhokra, tribal silverwork, stone, etc
Materials: Upcycled metals, skin-safe finishes, scent elements
Jewellery for movement: Dance, rituals, and posture-aware design
Prototyping: CAD + handcrafted hybrid models
Brand storytelling & presentation
Jewellery as emotional object: Healing crystals, scent-infused beads
Final design presentation and prototype

A body-conscious jewellery line rooted in Indian crafts, including process journal,
brand narrative and storytelling pitch for a potential brand.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Our selective application process begins with your Statement of Purpose and portfolio showcasing your most distinctive work, followed by a creative aptitude task. Shortlisted candidates are invited to a personal online conversation to ensure alignment with the program’s vision and standards.
FEE STRUCTURE & SCHOLARSHIP
This program is designed as an intensive, high-impact learning journey. The fee is 12,000 INR per month, tailored to the duration you choose.
We believe that exceptional talent and strong commitment deserve to be nurtured. Learners demonstrating outstanding potential reflected in their Statement of Purpose, Portfolio, and Aptitude Interview performance may secure scholarships covering up to 50% of the total fee.
