Cubism: Seeing through fragmentation
MNIT Jaipur
One perspective lies. Cubism taught us that breaking an object into fragments reveals what a single viewpoint hides. Working with painting, collage, and deconstruction, students discovered that fragmentation isn't destruction, it's clarity. By refusing perspective's single truth, Picasso and Braque revealed multiple realities existing simultaneously in one form. Students explored: How many truths can one object hold? Cubism became a way to see beyond the surface into what actually exists.
